The Queensland Building Services Authority issued Demac Homes with a builder's licence on the 19 April 1988 and Des Ryan took over operations and management on the 4 May 1988.
Demac Homes constructs 100-120 homes to builders' specifications annually. Each residence is constructed as a completed turn-key package which includes all internal and external fittings and finishes.
Demac Homes employs five permanent staff based at 10 Vanessa Boulevard, Springwood including a qualified site supervisor, draftsman-estimator, public relations officer and bookkeeper.
A team of 70 licenced and qualified contractors is engaged by Demac Homes in the construction of the houses.
All houses are constructed in compliance with the building codes of Australia and approved by the relevant local authority. Each house constructed by Demac Homes is independently inspected to ensure the highest standard of finish is maintained.
